To say that the CD 1 contains the entirety of the show is a lie. Damage.. Beautiful version of the Phantom of the Opera, one of the musicals most well-known and the most majestic. A cast to the limit of perfection (a small disappointment for Raoul, who is really better in the movie, for example). Ramin Karimloo is very charismatic, as always, and the chemistry with Sierra Boggess works perfectly. The staging is ingenious, the depths are many and well thought out, the director plays shrewdly with the room in which is played on the show. The achievement is a tribute to the efforts techniques. Two tiny caveats, however : the architecture of the Royal Albert Hall, which did not permit the decorator to do what he wanted with the candlestick (a key point of the original story), and the staging of The Point of No Return, whose sensuality has been completely left out.
